I am writing on behalf of SORENTO RAM LLC in response to the Disability and Paid Family Leave Benefits Law notice dated October 10, 2025, stating that the Board has no record of disability and paid family leave benefits coverage for the period beginning September 8, 2025. We also received an earlier related notice concerning Workers’ Compensation coverage, and we are responding to both notices with this correspondence. SORENTO RAM LLC confirms that the company does maintain all required Disability Benefits Law (DBL) and Paid Family Leave (PFL) coverage, as well as Workers’ Compensation insurance. Our Certificate of Insurance (COI) verifies that appropriate and continuous coverage is in place. Based on the information in our policy documents and carrier records, the company has not been without coverage at any time during the period referenced in these notices. For this reason, both notices appear to have been issued in error. We respectfully request that the Board review and update its records to reflect our active coverage. The coverage provider may not yet have transmitted the electronic Proof of Coverage, which appears to be the cause of the discrepancy. We have contacted our carrier to ensure the Board receives the required reporting. In the meantime, we are submitting this response along with supporting documentation so that the matter can be corrected promptly. Because SORENTO RAM LLC has maintained full compliance with all requirements under the New York State Disability and Paid Family Leave Benefits Law, as well as the Workers’ Compensation Law, we ask that the allegations of non-compliance be removed and that no penalties be assessed. We further request written confirmation that the Board’s records have been updated to show compliance and that the notices issued are withdrawn. If any additional documents or clarifications are needed to finalize your review, please notify us, and we will provide them immediately. We appreciate your prompt attention to resolving this matter.
